Delivery questions.

How quickly can our order be with us?
All orders for stock items will be shipped asap. This is normally within 1-2 days.
Please allow 1-2 days in transit for delivery.
If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will email you.

All orders for custom made badges and other custom made items will be processed
within 5-7 business days, unless stated otherwise. Please allow 1-2 days in transit for delivery.

I need my order in a rush! Is there any way to expedite my order?
You can speed up the ordering process by selecting the option 'Express order and delivery'
under shipping options in the shopping cart. This will ensure your order is given top priority
throughout processing (basically, you are jumping the queue!).
Express orders sent DPD 24 hr (signed for) when ready for despatch,instead of our normal
delivery service Royal Mail 1st class (not signed for).

Sorry, this option is available to UK customers only.

What are the carriage costs?
Carriage is charged at cost and is weight based, so will be between  £3.40 - £26.90 for
UK mainland. We use Royal Mail first class service for smaller packets, and DPD 24hr
ervice for larger consignments. Express order & delivery option is also available (see above). 
For overseas addresses we use Royal Mail air mail service for smaller packets, and DHL or
TNT for larger consignments. The cost is calculated when items are added to the cart.

Do you ship to non-UK addresses?
Yes we are happy to ship orders worldwide. Carriage charges will be calculated and added
at checkout when you tell us where you are based. Non-EU international customers are not
liable for VAT (sales tax). VAT registered EU customers will be asked to provide their VAT
number or will be charged VAT.


Artwork questions.

I'm not sure if the artwork we have is suitable.
If you do not have suitable artwork, or are not sure, please contact us by email to discuss
your requirements. Our design studio can prepare ready to use artwork for you from basic
sources such as a letterhead or cloth badge, or even a rough sketch.
We can also edit existing artwork to suit your needs, such as adding text around a crest,
or adding colours to a design.
Please visit our artwork guidelines page first, but if you are unsure please send what you
have and we can offer advice.

Are there any artwork or origination fees?
A charge is only made if your artwork is not suitable, and we will advise you by email
of this amount before proceeding with your order, We charge a one-off fee, usually
£6.50 - £20, depending on the complexity, for studio editing services.

We have a logo but I need to add/edit some text. Can you do this for me?
Yes, that's not a problem. There may be a small charge, see above, as it depends on
the complexity. Email your instructions and existing artwork and we will advise if there is
a fee to pay for editing. We will then email a PDF of the new artwork layout for approval.
If you require a particular font please let us know, otherwise we will use our standard
recommended font which is ARIAL BOLD.

I have ordered before and now we need another batch. Do I send artwork?

No, we keep all designs on file for future reference and for your convenience so
there is no need to re-send artwork. Simply choose the option 'repeat order'
when placing your order.
Please quote job title (wording on the badge/keyring etc) when re-ordering.


Online ordering questions.

We prefer not to use online ordering/payment. Can we still order from you?

Yes, just send an email with your artwork attached to [email protected]keyfactors.co.uk.
We will need this info - Your name and your Organisation's name, a delivery address
for your order, items & quantities required, and the date your items are needed by.

How do we pay for an order not placed online?
We will email a pro-forma invoice for payment. Our preferred method of payment
is bacs (bank transfer), you can also pay this invoice by credit or debit card over the phone.
We are unable to despatch goods until payment has cleared unless you have an approved
credit account.
30 day credit accounts are available for subsequent orders on application.

We are a School with an official purchase order. Can we order online & pay later?
Yes, we accept online orders from Schools with official purchase orders. Just select
the 'CHECKOUT' button on the shopping cart page. Fill out your billing and delivery
address details on the checkout page (ignore the card details section) and select the
'CLICK TO COMPLETE ORDER' button.
We will send an invoice with your goods. This invoice must be paid within 30 days please. 
This option is only available to UK based Schools & Colleges with official orders.

Keyfactors.co.uk uses Paypal to process payments, do I need a paypal account?
No, you can pay by debit or debit card on paypal, you do not need a paypal account.
You can also use Stripe (secure server) to pay by credit or debit card.

Why is the price I see in the cart lower than that quoted on the item page?
Item cost, carriage charges and vat are broken down and listed seperately in the
shopping cart, but the invoice total will be the same.

Custom made items questions.

What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order for domed labels printed with your own artwork is 25.
Some stock products have a minimum order quantity which will be quoted
on the relevant items page.

Can you make badges in any shape or size requested?
No. We only supply badges in the sizes and shapes shown on this website.
We have 34 different badge back sizes, shapes and colours to choose from.
